Alastair Crown has reared pigs on Corndale Farm since 2012. He initially started with four Saddleback pigs and over time build up to the 80-100 he keeps today. Alastair has a passion for high welfare, sustainable farming. His pigs are free range all year round, allowing them to live the carefree life that a pig should! He keeps a closed herd which means there is little chance to disease outbreak and so n o need to routinely administer antibiotics which is an unsustainable practice common in livestock farming.
We love everything about this free range fennel salami. It’s great on the side of a cheeseboard or on top of a pizza. Try it in a cheese toasty with some Drumlin Chilli and Wild Garlic…yum!
