Dart Mountain Cheese, located in the scenic Sperrin Mountains near to the village of Park in County Derry, Northern Ireland, was established in June 2011 by Julie Hickey. Involved in the food industry for over 18 years both as a chef and a restaurant owner, Julie has developed a strong interest in cheese and since 2008 has attended a number of cheese production courses across the UK and Ireland.
Why do we love them?
The Northern Irish cheese scene is still relatively young - but it's fabulous to see characters such as team behind Dart Mountain Cheese driving it forward.
