Cratloe Hills Gold Mild is a mild Irish sheeps cheese by Sean & Deirdre Fitzgerald. Situated in the beautiful countryside of County Clare, Cratloe Hills is Ireland’s oldest sheep cheese producer. Free to roam the rolling, green hills of County Clare, their flock of 195 Friesland sheep were originally imported to Ireland in 1987.
Sean & Deirdre have travelled far and wide to hone their cheese craft and learn from some of the world’s best producers. Taking inspiration from Netherlands, England and France, the work that has gone into this incredible cheese shines through in the taste.
Cratloe Hills Gold Mild is a light cheese with a subtle nutty flavour, with a wide variety of great uses. Great for cheeseboards, salads, sandwiches or a light wine. If mild cheese isn’t your thing, Cratloe Hills has a stronger, mature version called Cratloe Hills Gold Mature. Check it out here!
